Artifact Shawlette
The Artifact Shawlette is inspired by the ancient ruins, fossils and relics that record our history and the passage of time. A spider web lace edging reflects how our past and future are intertwined, while both Egyptian and Celtic influences are evident in the “woven” borders and central scroll motif.
The pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit to reduce the potential for error.
CONSTRUCTION
The Artifact Shawlette is worked from the bottom up using a 32” (81 cm) circular needle and features a very slight crescent shape created by a combination of short rows and uniformly placed decreases.

YARN NOTES
A worsted weight yarn with good stitch definition and little to no halo is recommended. Slight tonals work well, but highly variegated yarn will distract from the lace, the textural borders and the inset lace motif.
