Artist Glove
The Artist Glove (also known as an art glove, drawing glove, tablet glove, and so on) is a glove designed to keep the hand and work surface clean and aids in smooth hand-movement over things like drawing tablets.
there are a lot of these available online, but i always found they were ill-fitting and not breathable at all, so i wanted to knit a fitted one!
this pattern is made so that you can knit it with any yarn weight for any hand size, you just need to do a tiny bit of measuring and multiplication. (it isn’t hard, don’t worry. I hate math)
you’ll need to know:
Cast On (CO)
knit (k)
purl (p)
stockinette in the round & flat
make one (m1)
i would go for a soft yarn (synthetic fiber is fine but if you’re sweaty like me you might want to go for a wool blend for the added benefit of wicking)
(update: added a simple diagram to the pattern. don’t forget that there are multiple photos of the finished pattern on this very page.)
