ARYA! Is named after my very naughty, but very well loved chocolate lab puppy. I began designing the haltered tank the same week we adopted Arya, and if I had a penny for every time I called her name, well, let’s just say I would be sitting on a beach in Cozumel with a double margarita.
I designed ARYA! to be the perfect transition piece from summer to fall. As a crop top, it’s absolutely perfect when paired with a flowy skirt. Arya can also be worn as a full length top, which can carry you through the rest of the transition season.
ARYA! is knit seamlessly from the bottom up. The front and back is then split to create the armholes, and is then joined in the round again for the mock turtle neck.

Sizes
Pick the size closest to your bust size. The pattern already accommodates for 4in/10cm of negative ease. If you are in between sizes, I recommend going up a size.

Yarn
A dk weight wool or wool blend that is soft enough to wear next to skin. In my sample, I used Malabrigo Dos Tierras (50% merino wool, 50% baby alpaca) in Aniversario as my MC and Arco Iris as my CC.

Full Length Tank Top Suggestions
I recommend purchasing another skein of your MC and adding (7, 7, 7) (8, 8, 8) (9, 9) in/ (18, 18, 18) (20, 20, 20) (23, 23)cm to the body, before separating for the bodice shaping.

Needles
US 5/3.75mm circular needles that are roughly 5 inches shorter than your bust size
US 5/3.75mm set of double pointed needles or long circular needles for magic loop
US 7/4.5mm set of double pointed needles or long circular needles for magic loop. (The larger needle is only for the final neckline BO)

Gauge
4x4in/10x10cm = 20 stitches and 32 rows in stockinette stitch using smaller needles after blocking
