Arya Shawl
Arya Shawl is a crochet pattern for a large triangular shawl with a single coloured textured body and a large ‘wavy ‘ colourful border.
Shawl construction : shawl is worked bottom upwards in rows. Turn after each row.
Begin with the shawl body in a single colour. Next work the large colourful shell border.
This shawl can be mady with any yarn (weight).
You can also easily adjust the size of the shawl, by working more or less pattern rows for the body and / or the border.
Written instructions in English (UK and US crochet terms) and in Dutch.
2 crochet charts and a schematic are included.
Measurements of sample shawl : 187 cm/74,25 in wingspan and 125 cm/49,50 in deep.
Yarn : any yarn (weight).

Hobbii Friends Extra Fine Merino, 100 % superwash merino, 50g/165m/180yds, colour 89 Deep Ocean : 3 balls. (Colour A)
& Hobbii Friends Kid Silk, 72 % mohair & 25 % silk & 3 % wool, 25g/200m/218yds.
Colour B : 89 Deep Ocean
Colour C : 62 Plum
Colour D : 63 Lilac
Colour E : 77 Arctic Blue
Colour F : 75 Baby Bule
Colour G : 37 Rosewood
Colour H : 50 Hint of Pink
Colour I : 88 Turkish Blue
You need ½ ball of each of these colours.
Crochet hook : matching your yarn.
Sampe shawl made using hook sizes 3,5 mm and 4,5 mm.
Skill level : intermediate
