This is a super easy sock pattern that is suitable for a first time sock knitter. It has a subtle textured swirl that surrounds your foot. I created it to work with variegated or solid yarn. It uses a slip stitch heel flap and is knit top down on double pointed needles.

I knit for a ladies medium - 8” circumference foot but is very easily adapted for other sizes as it is a 4 stitch repeat. Just add or subtract 4 stitches to make it larger or smaller. Alternatively you could use larger needles.

Any sock yarn with an 8 stitches to the inch gauge works. I always purchase 100 grams for a pair and have plenty of leftover yarn.
