As the Bat Flies
This started out as the 2017 Mystery Crochet Along in the Beginner & Intermediate CAL group. I have decided to share this pattern as a complete pattern now that the mystery is revealed.
So let us venture into a bit of colour work / tapestry crochet by crocheting a little bat infested bowl.
Gauge is not that important. You can basically use any yarn weight you want, but make sure your yarn / hook combination gives you a nice firm, even slightly stiff fabric (not easy on the hands, I know…). Please keep in mind that yardage requirements change with yarn weight / gauge.
Materials needed:
Yarn in two solid contrasting colours (the classic halloween combo orange / black works great!). 100 yards MC and 75 yards CC should suffice if you use worsted weight yarn
Crochet hook (4mm / G hook for worsted weight yarn)
