Knitting a pattern as-you-go offers the fun chance to make changes at whim, adding different design elements whenever it looks like the right time. The trouble with them is writing the pattern!

While I’ve written down what I’ve done, in a format I hope is easy to understand and follow along with, this pattern encourages making it your own by adding, subtracting, or changing sections as you go.

There may be times when you are going to want to pay more attention to what the stitches are telling you do to, rather than the pattern.

Remember: this pattern is more of a guideline. Don’t be afraid to change it up!
