ASA Queen 01
The idea behind the All Squared Away patterns is to take the traditional granny square pattern and make it sing! These patterns are designed to use squares of different sizes, which makes them ideal for using up scraps; while the joining method used cuts down on the number of ends you need to weave in.
Though it uses granny squares, this is not a beginner pattern. It’s all about the joining method.
This pattern uses the continuous joining method described in this tutorial: https://www.ravelry.com/discuss/fantasticmio/4069169/1-25
or this video tutorial: https://youtu.be/LO40rxGSxpM
Size and yardage information is estimated based on using DK or Worsted Weight yarns.
A written pattern for a granny square is included, but you can use any traditional granny square pattern you are comfortable with.
This was designed with using up scraps in mind. Gauge isn’t critical, as granny squares are quite forgiving. Suggested sizes are based on using sport weight yarn vs. worsted weight yarn.
Includes a schematic each for both right-handed and left-handed crocheting.
Yarn needed for the join is estimated at 1000 or 1500 yards.
