What makes this the ultimate scrapghan? It calls for squares in sizes ranging from 7-rounds all the way down to 1-round squares. You can use up even the smallest bits. Don’t like 1-round squares? Skip ‘em. It’s quite easy to eliminate rows of squares you don’t feel like making. Want to make it longer or shorter? Add or subtract any line of same-sized squares

There are both a RH- and LH-crochet join schematics.
Finished size is approximately 21.3 x 16 times (11.3 x 8 times) bigger than your 3-round square. Sample measures 64” x 48” (34” x 24”)

Yarn needed for the join is estimated at 1950 (425) yards

The idea behind the All Squared Away patterns is to take the traditional granny square pattern and make it sing! These patterns are designed to use squares of different sizes, which makes them ideal for using up scraps; while the joining method used cuts down on the number of ends you need to weave in.

Though it uses granny squares, this is not a beginner pattern. It’s all about the joining method.

A written pattern for a granny square is included, but you can use any traditional granny square pattern you are comfortable with.

This was designed with using up scraps in mind. Gauge isn’t critical, as granny squares are quite forgiving.
