ASA Wild Flowers Twin
In the vein of ASA blankets that actually look like something, this is a twin/single sized version.
This pattern was tested for colour blind accessibility by https://www.color-blindness.com/coblis-color-blindness-si... It will also still make sense when printed in the black/white setting on your printer.
The idea behind the All Squared Away patterns is to take the traditional granny square pattern and make it sing! These patterns are designed to use squares of different sizes, which makes them ideal for using up scraps; while the joining method used cuts down on the number of ends you need to weave in.
Though it uses granny squares, this is not a beginner pattern. It’s all about the joining method.
This pattern uses the continuous joining method described in this tutorial: https://www.ravelry.com/discuss/fantasticmio/4069169/1-25
or this video tutorial: https://youtu.be/LO40rxGSxpM
A PDF version of this joining method is included with this pattern download.
This pattern includes both right- and left-handed joining schematics.
This was designed with using up scraps in mind. Gauge isn’t critical, as granny squares are quite forgiving.
Yarn needed for the join is estimated at 1050-1250 yards
