This drop shoulder textured jumper is an exercise in mindfulness and calm. While it looks complex, the pattern consists of only 4 short charts, arranged to set up a central cabled braid, surrounded by right and left sided cables.

The slightly relaxed fit of this jumper is achieved by the small amount of positive ease over the chest, and a greater amount of ease in the upper arms. Rectangular sleeves are gathered at the wrist to allow for movement and reach, with a deep shoulder opening for the arm. Knit in panels from the bottom up, there is a longer front to accommodate your bust, in addition to creating a European shoulder, where the seam is shifted towards the back. It is recommended that all panels are blocked prior to seaming, which done is using a simple backstitch.

Yarn Requirements
For this jumper, I used Tarndwarncoort Polwarth Fingering yarn, which is a lofty, fingering weight, 2ply spun non super wash, yarn, with a meterage of 384m per 100g (420y/3.5oz). I strongly encourage you to use a similar non super wash yarn for your Ascending jumper. A super wash yarn will not have the same characteristics and will drape more dramatically.

Please note, the meterage includes an extra 10g to account for your gauge swatches.
