These little toys only require a little bit of yarn, so they are ideal for little bits of yarn that you don’t know what to do with!

The pattern is completely written, no charts. The techniques you need to know are how to cast on, bind off, and whipstitch. The only stitch you need to know is the knit stitch, as the pattern is completely garter. You can use any weight yarn and any size needles. Gauge is not very important. The toy will just be larger or smaller. The yarn is held double so that the toys are durable and not easy to pull yarn out of. The pattern says to stuff the toy with yarn, but wine corks also work well.

The materials needed are:
50 yards of fingering weight yarn
Size US 5 needles
A darning needle
