Ashildr Squared
Description
The square pattern is designed to repeat, so you can continue the repeating pattern until the desired size of square is achieved. You can make one-repeat square to join together with others or continue the repeating pattern until the desired size of afghan is achieved.
The pattern can be used for anything from a pillow/cushion cover, table runner, table cloth, placemat, dresser cover, or as a larger item for across the end of the bed.
This pattern is for beginner to intermediate crocheters. There are only three stitches!
Written instructions are provided, as well as a chart. Any yarn can be used for this blanket, as long as you use the hook recommended for the yarn.
Yarn:
I recommend a 4 to 6 ply yarn. The amount required will depend on the width and length you decide to make your project.
I suggest WolleAmore cotton, 12 o’color or Ice Pleasures (50% cotton, 50% acrylic), Supernova (50% cotton, 50% acrylic plus lurex), bamboo (50% bamboo/50% acrylic), or merino (50% merino, 50% acrylic).
Available online at wolleamore.pl. #wolleamore #amorewolle #wolleamoreyarn
I used a 2000 m 12 o’color for my project, which was 150 cm square. I used a 3.5 mm hook.
