This is a slouchy cabled beret that I whipped up after trying to find something similar on Ravelry to no avail. The hat knits up quickly, and the decreases make the cables continue to the end of the hat for cohesive visual repetition. Stays snugly on one’s head, and meant to be worn on the back of the head as a slouchy beret, or it can be worn more as a beanie-type hat to cover one’s ears in the cold. Perfect for Midwestern winters!
