When I was a kid, the rail trail through northern Berkshire County was still an active railway, and we used to watch the trains go by on the shore of Cheshire Reservoir while enjoying black raspberry ice cream at Joanie’s. The color of this yarn reminds me of those delicious scoops, and the stitch pattern reminds me of the ripples on the lake on those summer evenings.
