this is my version of the sign language chart.this is done in the afghan stitch aka tunisian stitch and each square is worked on 32 sts for 32 rows. pattern includes- general instructions for afghan, specific instructions for this afghan, ideas to work in sc if you wish, a list of colors used and amounts, and 26 color charts for the squares and 4 sets of 2 color charts for the 2 double squares. Knowledge of the basic afghan stitch, sc, dc, sl st, chain needed. it measures 52 x 70 inches .
This can also be done in knit by working charts from the side rather than bottom up, they will be a little smaller, based on # 8 needles and 4-ply worsted weight yarn.
NOTE: there are 37 pdf charts and downloads for this pattern, be sure you have loaded your printer with paper and have good amount of color ink

the two larger square charts will be the charts shown on the fall colored afghan NOT the pastel colored afghan.
