Size US 5 (3.75 mm): 16” (40 cm) circular needles; longer circ for magic loop, or DPNs, per knitter preference.
If using small circular needle for body of hat, one set of DPNs or longer circular needle for magic loop for working crown decreases.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
