The Aspen Cowl is a fairly simple knit. It is knit in the round on a 24” cable. An Intermediate beginner knitter should be able to knit this cowl if they know how to knit in the round or if they can get a little help with that skill. There required skills are casting on, binding off, knit, and purl stitches.

Gauge is given, but is not crucial to the success of the project. It will impact the amount of yarn used in the project.

My hope is that beginners will use it to build their skills and have fun with it!
