The Aspen Fir sweater is a sideways knit. Commencing at the cuff, the Fir pattern runs up the centre of the sleeve to the neckline and around the hemline. This pattern also comes with an option of working the sleeves in just the garter stitch. Minimal seaming is required for the sweater. Pattern has been test knitted, and technical edited.
This is a great no fuss little sweater suitable for either gender.

D -- 280 grams -- 590 metres -- 645 yards
E -- 330 grams -- 695 metres -- 760 yards

Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Merino (Colour Blue Indigo 52)
NEEDLES REQUIRED
One pair 4 mm (US 6 : UK 8)
extra long straight needles or
circular needle.
OTHER MATERIALS
6 stitch markers
Stitch holder (or scrap yarn)
2 safety pins
TENSION / GAUGE
20 sts x 38 rows = 10 cm (4 in) in garter stitch on 4 mm (US 6 : UK 8) needles.
