The ASPEN Slipover is the epitome of comfort: the sleeveless vest with casual fit and huge, snuggly turtleneck will keep you warm & cozy in style in any weather. An easy but distinctive cable on front and back combined with twisted rib fit perfectly to any outfit.

ASPEN is an oversized slipover worked with one strand of Wool and two strands of Silk-Mohair (or one strand of bulky weight yarn) for maximum coziness and is worked up in no time. It is worked top-down and seamless, beginning with the turtleneck. Then new stitches are cast on for the shoulders with a Cable Cast On. Back and front are worked flat separately to the underarm, then joined and worked circularly to the bottom hem. Shoulders and neckline are shaped with short rows for better fit. Finally, the armhole trim is worked from stitches that are picked up around the armholes.

The pattern includes both written and charted directions.
