While watching the Aspen X Games, I saw the cutest hat on one of the reporters. I had to copy it for myself. The hat is knit in intarsia as alternating blocks of color, one in stockinette and the other in basket weave. A third color is used to join it in the round and then a single color decrease for the crown. This is the first time I have successfully knit in intarsia so please let me know if my pattern notes need further explanation.
