The Aspö Bobble Cardigan for baby and toddler is a timeless raglan cardigan with fun bobble detail that can be knit in a contrasting colour.

The cardigan is knitted from the top down with the button band knitted afterwards by picking up stitches along the edge of the cardigan.

Sizes: 0-3 (3-6 : 6-9 : 9-12) 12-18 : 18-24 months

Yarn: You will need the following amounts of Double Knit (DK) weight yarn. Sample photographed in Paintbox Yarns Baby DK in Vanilla Cream for body and Paintbox Yarns Simply DK in Rich Teal for contrasting colour:
Main colour: 2 (2 : 2 : 2) 2 : 3 balls / 196 (214 : 233 : 266) 294 : 340metres / 214 (234 : 255 : 291) 322 : 372yards
Contrast colour: 1 ball for all sizes / 16 (17 : 18 : 18.5) 19 : 20.5metres / 17.5 (19 : 20 : 20.5) 21 : 22.5yards

Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows = 10cm / 4in in stockinette stitch on 4mm / US 6 needles

Needles:
4mm / US 6 circular needle, 60cm / 24in long or extra long straight needles
4mm / US 6 set of double pointed needles for sleeves (or a circular needle if you use the magic loop method)
3.75mm / US 5 needles for rib stitch
