Assiduity
Assiduity----Def: perseverance, tenacity, patience. So many times, I put this pattern down, pick it back up later, so on and so on. But, through perseverance and patience I finally completed it to my satisfaction.
Lace and Cables. Beads and Bobbles. Bout covers it all ! Lots of elements involved in this fine lace shawl. Knit in one piece, top down. Provisional cast on for a decorative lace top edge, working to a windmill stitch main body. Effortlessly flowing to a lace, cable, beads and nupps scalloped edge. The beads are, as always, optional.
This is a CHART ONLY pattern and the experienced knitters should find a satisfying project. Finished size blocked using this yarn…31” down the middle back and 61” across the shoulders. Different yarns will yield different results.
Materials needed:
2 Skeins MIss Babs Avon, 900 yds. Light Fingering.
#5, 3.75 mm Knitting Needle.
2 Markers.
1 or 2 Cable Needles depending on method used.
400 6/0 Beads. Optional.
Might I be so bold as to suggest suelillys Bead Slider tool for
adding beads. Found at suelillycreations.etsy.com
