Aster is a unisex winter hat with a folded-up brim and a simple diamond pattern in stranded colorwork.

The diamonds form a five-pointed star around the decreases at the top of the hat.

Aster is written to fit a 23” head but could be altered by blocking or by adjusting the gauge.

The pattern requires 120 yards of the main color and 60 yards of the contrast color.
