Aster Baby Jumper and Hat
The Aster baby jumper and hat set is named after the aster flower as the pattern created by the front post double crochets reminds me of the aster petals. It’s a beautiful, lightweight jumper with a matching hat.
This jumper is crocheted top-down with a round yoke. The body is crocheted in one piece and the sleeves and neck trim are then added. The only sewing required is to sew in your loose ends!
This design has a wider neck to make it easier to get over baby’s head. As this pattern covers the whole 0 – 6 months range, the length of the body, sleeves and hat are all adjustable and full instructions are included in the pattern for this.
This design is ideal for Advanced Beginner or Intermediate level crocheters; it includes increases, decreases and post stitches.
I hope you enjoy this pattern. I would love to see your photos which you can post to my Instagram @jochetdesigns .
