A semicircular shawl with a knit on edging, the pattern uses varying decreases to create a lovely open starry design radiating out from the center.

Two skeins of Gaia Lace will make the large size.

The shawl works beautifully in 1 skein Little Traveller, as shown here in Pantanal. The size in the pattern will take one skein, a second skein allows you to go very large, and the directions are pretty easy to follow. I’d be glad to help you work out yardage and size, etc.

A kind knitter has just noted that the little square in the pattern chart does not have a corresponding definition in the legend. I submitted the chart with a left leaning triangle, which is a sk2p, so that is what that little square represents. I apologise for the trouble.
