I love a quick and chunky make, and you can make one of the Asteria Fingerless Gloves in about 15 minutes! Love it! The whole Asteria set, Beanie, Cowl, and Fingerless Gloves can be made in roughly 2 hours! Perfect for Markets. (Beanie is sold separately or you can get all three patterns as a bundle here)

Now a little about how I write my patterns. I have placed video tutorials, under the Special Stitches section to help you guys learn the stitches I used to create this pattern. These are not videos of the actual pattern! Some of the stitches I have changed just a little bit, but the videos will still help you immensely, if you watch them. There are photo tutorials at the end of the pattern that can also help you. I am also available to help anyone who needs it, and can be reached easily in my Facebook Group, The Knotty Corner.

About These Patterns:

• Pattern is written in US terms
• Smallest size of Fingerless Gloves requires 30-40 yards, while the largest requires approximately 72 yards.
• Smallest cowl requires approximately 65-70 yards, while the largest cowl requires 110-125 yards.
  I made the entire Asteria set with less than 4 skeins of Hometown yarn.
• Fingerless Gloves Pattern includes sizes toddler through Adult Large
• Cowl Pattern includes sizes toddler through Adult Large
• Pattern has been tested with Size 6 Bulky, Size 5 weight yarn, and with two strands of yarn held together, as long as you are meeting the required measurements it will work.

Materials:

– Any size 6 weight super bulky yarn will probably work; I used Lion Brand Hometown U.S.A, and Lion Brand Quick and Thick and they worked perfect.

– Size N/15-10.00mm (I use Boye)

– Tapestry Needle
