Asterism
Asterism has plenty of relaxing garter stitch and delicate eyelet details that add interest and lightness to the shawl.
The shawl begins with just one stitch and is knitted on the bias to the opposite edge, creating an asymmetric triangle shape. The simplistic beauty of Asterism makes it a versatile and wearable accessory for any outfit.
YARN
One skein of Hedgehog Fibres Sock (90% merino, 10% nylon; 400 m / 437 yds per 100 g). Shown in colour Typewriter.
Or approximately 400 m / 437 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.

Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge
This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
