Asteroidea
by Mindy Vasil
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
Asteroidea was originally designed as a flower centered beret,
but a secret starfish popped out during blocking. So, what do you see the flower or the sea star?
This hat can be made with dk weight yarn (as pictured) for
a smaller beret/slouchy hat or with worsted weight yarn for a wider/slouchier beret.
Errata: Row 49 should actually read: k1, (k6, rt, k11, lt, k7 rt) repeat to end - the last rt will include the first stitch from row 50. Row 50 will actually be: k5, rt, yo, k2tog, k1, ssk, yo, k2, ssk, yo, k2, ssk, yo, lt, k7, (k6, rt, yo, k2tog, k1, ssk, yo, k2, ssk, yo, k2, ssk, yo, lt, k7) repeat to end.
