Astor Socks
Astor is a sock pattern inspired by the New York Public Library. Two climbing cables represent the stately lion statues Patience and Fortitude, which lend their steadfast strength to an ornamental lattice motif like the ceiling at the library’s outside entrance. Five lines span the back of the sock for the beautiful Fifth Avenue branch. Designed for one of my favorite buildings in New York City, this sock design is a modern take on a classic—perfect for bibliophiles and architecture lovers!
