No joining/sewing! Made of only basic stitches (sc and hdc)!

Although I LOVE the Bernat Maker Home Dec for this project (it’s a tubular, smooth, soft, fabric-y yarn that makes a squishy comfy rug), you can actually use any weight and type of yarn you want. Once you make the first block (onto which rest of rug is worked), I explain how to figure exactly how wide and long your rug will be based on the measurements of that block. If you want a larger rug, you can switch to a heavier yarn and/or larger hook - a smaller rug, a lighter yarn and/or smaller hook.

The final round of edging on this rug creates a perfect ‘lip’ that will cover a piece of rug backing (for a no slip rug:). This way, the backing is not permanent so the crocheted rug can easily be washed!

Pattern includes lots of step-by-step instructional pics!
