Two years ago, I ordered some Moulin Rouge astrantia starts. The flowers are a lovely shade of pink with purple and white highlights. The leaves have three points and they are a rich, emerald shade of green. It takes at least 3 years for the plants to become established and in the summer of 2016, they should finally bloom. I can’t wait!  I’m so excited to see them that I created the Astrantia Boot Cuff. The 3 picot lace part looks very similar to their lovely leaves. I hope you enjoy making them as much as I did!

These boot cuffs can be made to fit anyone by increasing or decreasing the 8 stitch pattern repeat.

7 hook (4.5 mm)
