Astrid's Baby animals blanket
I love drawing, but some items are hard to draw in small versions to fit in projects. To draw a proper cow, I would probably need to make one whole blanket with just that cow… so, I used stick figures instead, and came up with these sweet animals for a baby blanket. Hopefully it will be in time something to point at and learn the different animals’ names? Definitely a keeper after a child has outgrown its size!
This blanket is made in interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes. I also included all yarn colours used, and how many grams of each. And, of course, a colouring page for you to play with and make your own colour choices!
If you are new to the technique, you can find my tutorials with a free downloadable pattern to follow here: Astrid’s Interlocking crochet YouTube channel
