Astrid's Colour wave blanket
When I heard Scheepjes was re-launching the Scrumptious colour pack, I knew I had to jump in. I looked at all those colours and this wave came floating in my mind. Graph paper, pen, white out (lots of), and some hours later I had the Colour wave drawn up. It was a bit of a reverse-engineering job to then plan the colours. With only 30g of each colour, they had to both have smooth transitions for the A colour while contrasting the colour of each section.
This blanket is made in Interlocking crochet and the pattern comes not only with written instructions row per row, but chart and photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes. The colours are described in detail, which is used where for you to follow easily, or you can use the colours as you please.
I didn’t use the whole content of the box, so I also designed the Colour Wave cushion cover to use the rest of the yarn. You can find it here: Astrid’s Colour wave cushion
