Astrid's Coloured pencils blanket
With children growing up in the house, the paper bits with drawings were all over the place, and years back, clearing the kitchen table one day before dinner I looked at these drawings and pencils scattered, and they inspired me. I usually sketch my ideas with some notes, and they go into a box (a few boxes by now). I recently went through one of the boxes and though my kids are in their late teens now, I picked this one and made it into this blanket.
This blanket is made in Interlocking crochet. The pattern includes information on the technique, links to my Interlocking tutorials, photo guides on how to get started and how to change colours and a detailed list of all the colours used, how many grams of each, and when you need to split your colours in bobbins. I also added a colouring page so that you can play with your own coloured pencils and make other colour combinations.
If you are new to the technique, you can find my tutorials with a free downloadable pattern to follow here: Astrid’s Interlocking crochet YouTube channel
