I have long wanted to make a Periodic Table of Elements blanket. I had trouble coming up with proper letters that were both legible enough but small enough for each element symbol, if not the blanket would be huge.

Not so long ago I started introducing diagonal stitches to some of my designs, and that allowed my letters to be far better. Then it was time, and finally my Elements blanket is made.

Approximate size: 1,4 x 1,8m

This blanket is made in interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes.
I included a list of all colours used, as well as how many grams of each, and also added a “colouring page” for you to create your own colour scheme.
