Astrid's flower power throw
For years I doodled in my school books, specially in the ones with squared paper. Some where so large and detailed, that I wonder how I ever learned anything. They came back to mind when I found this drawing in one of my kids’ books, which inspired me to design this blanket. I am really happy with the result, and I hope you enjoy making this! The technique is interlocking crochet. The pattern comes with detailed instructions on this technique.
My finished blanket, using Scheepjes Catona (22x50gr rust and 20x50g white) and a 3mm hook is approximately 1,20 x 1,70m. It can be done with any hook or yarn, just note that the size will change accordingly. However, the proportions to the figure will stay the same.
