Astrid's Lady Vitreaux blanket
It started with a Scheepjes Catona colour pack on my table, all 109 skeins out, playing with them and the idea came to me. A face in the form of a vitreaux, or stained-glass window. The bright Catona colours make it seem that the light is shining through the glass…
This blanket is done in Interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes.
My finished size: 1,15 x 1,50m (144 windows x 172 rows)
I used a Scheepjes Catona colour pack and approx. 1100g of 164 Light Navy for the A colour (blue lines). The pattern includes a “colouring page” for you to play around with your colour preferences.
