Astrid's Paisley flowers blanket
Astrid’s Paisley flowers blanket
This pattern came about with doodles of flowers growing in each direction. But the point of this project was making two versions, to show how my multicoloured patterns can also be made in just two colours. The pattern includes both versions written out in full.
One version with many colours is made in Scheepjes Stone Washed, it measures 1,35 x 1,75 metres and weighs around 2,3kg.
The second version in just two colours is made in Scheepjes Whirl and Whirlette, it measures 1,20 x 1,50 metres and weighs around 1 kg.
This blanket is made in interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes. I included a list of all colours used, as well as how many grams of each, and also added a “colouring page” for you to create your own colour scheme.
If you are new to the technique, you can find my tutorials with a free downloadable pattern to follow here: Astrid’s Interlocking crochet YouTube channel
