Astrid's Pencil stubs blanket
By popular demand, after the reaction when I published my Astrid’s Coloured pencils blanket, I made this blanket to be done in any size you want. From a baby blanket to a king size one, it is you who decides this time. I guide you through the how and it is very easy! You can even reduce the width and extend the length to make a scarf, now that is a versatile pattern!
The smallest size of this blanket is 55 x 85cms and if you have no current need for a baby blanket, it makes for the perfect bathroom mat!
This blanket is made in Interlocking crochet. The pattern includes information on the technique, links to my Interlocking tutorials, photo guides on how to get started and how to change colours and a detailed list of all the colours used, how many grams of each, and when you need to split your colours in bobbins. I also added a colouring page so that you can play with your own coloured pencils and make other colour combinations.
I added a whole detailed section on how to make it larger, both in width and length, and how to calculate the yarn you need.
If you need assistance with the colour reflections I made a tutorial on it here: Astrid’s Pencil stubs - colour reflections
