Astrid's Rose blanket
The idea here started with the background. I wanted to make a background with a small, compact and intricate pattern. Therefore, the central motif had to be smaller and simpler to not make the blanket messy. So, then came the rose.
This blanket is done in Interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes.
My finished size: 1,25 x 1,55m (143 windows x 167 rows)
I used a few colours, the pattern includes a list of all the ones used, and how many grams of each. It is easy to follow my colour scheme or just make your own colours, I added a “colouring page” for you to play around with your colour preferences.
If you are new to the technique, you can find my tutorials with a free downloadable pattern to follow here: Astrid’s Interlocking crochet YouTube channel
