Astrid's Simple hearts blankets
Astrid’s Simple hearts blankets
I am often asked for simpler projects, both in difficulty and size. Well, it doesn’t get much simpler than this. This pattern includes two versions, one for those who enjoy working with small squares at a time and joining later, and another “all in one” version. This second version, I made into a baby blanket, but instructions tell you how to make it in your own size. You choose the width and the length. And of course, how to make one of your squares into a “hearty” potholder is also included!
One heart takes 10g, so it’s a perfect way to use up leftovers.
This blanket is made in interlocking crochet, and the pattern comes with instructions on the technique itself, plus photo tutorials on how to get started and how to make the colour changes.
If you are new to the technique, you can find my tutorials with a free downloadable pattern to follow here: Astrid’s Interlocking crochet YouTube channel
