Asym Chunky Neck Wrap
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
This pattern works up in two sizes with two different yarns.
LARGE (32” x 7”)
Loop-d-Loop Granite, super bulky, with US 13 needles
or
SMALL (24” x 4.5”) wrap
Stacy Charles Karma, bulky, with US 10.5 needles
My favorite is the large wrap in Granite, but I test knitted the pattern in the Karma and figured it was pretty cute and should add it to the pattern.
This pattern was “thought up” as a need to cover
the area that is subject to cold when you’re wearing
a v-neck. There is not much bulk at the back of the
neck, unlike a traditional chunky scarf.
I used a beginner approach to short-rows, it makes the wrap curve around easily.
