Asystasia Aqua
Since the day i came to South Africa to live i have never ceased to be amazed by the luxurious display of its flora. It became a never ending source of inspiration for my restless hands.
This necklace is dedicated to the humble creeping foxglove, hiding under the shade of a tree, glistening with dew on a misty morning in Assagay. It can be worn in a variety of ways. Several times around a wrist makes it a beautiful furry-like bracelet, and it could be used as a loose circlet around a veil, or simply as an edging to customize a shirt or a tablecloth (in which case you’ll need more thread and time!).

I submitted the pattern to a craft competition (Ideas Magazine 30th anniversary), and i made it to the 30 finalists! Just had the phonecall, had to share the news! Woohoo!
