This casually elegant shrug only looks simple. Whisper-then, it’s also warmer than it appears.

CASHMERE SHRUG
Knit from one sleeve to the other in classic shrug fashion, this wrap features dropped stitches that elongate the lower half of the sleeves. For the first sleeve, every other stitch is dropped as you knit; the second sleeve is knti with yarn overs, which are pulled out. It’s a fun technique!

Mongolian Cashmere 2-Ply by Jade Sapphire Exotic Fibres, 1.9oz/55g hanks, each approx 400yd/366m (cashmere) YARN WT = 1
• 2 (3, 3, 3) hanks in #27 pink pearl

GAUGE
32 sts and 36 rnds to 4”/10cm over St. John’s wort st using size 3 (3.25mm) circular needle.
