I needed something simple to take my mind off the world and get my hands moving again. This pattern was born out of a desire for calmness.

A soft and airy yarn in a solid or semi-solid colour works best (Estelle’s lofty Eco Tweed DK is a wonderful choice), but you can use whatever makes you happy. Wear it slouchy or fold up the brim for extra warmth.

4mm (US 6) 40cm/16” circular needle
4mm (US 6) 80cm/32” circular needle for magic loop or set of double pointed needles for crown decreases
