The pattern indicates the order of work for two doily versions: crocheted only and with an insert made with knitting needles.

When working on the samples, the following tools and materials were used:

for crocheting only:
• yarn 100% mercerized cotton, (320m / 50gr) ~ 50gr;
• hook number 1.4;
• 2 markers;
• 100 round beads with a diameter of 0.6 cm.

for crocheting and knitting:
• yarn 100% mercerized cotton, (320m / 50gr) ~ 40gr;
• hook number 1.4;
• 100% cotton yarn (900m / 250gr) ~ 15gr;
• knitting needles number 3.5;
• knitting needles number 4;
• hook number 2.5;
• 2 markers;
• 100 round beads with a diameter of 0.6 cm.

For knitting, you need to know only three elements:
knit, knit2tog, yarn over.

Knitting needles are suitable for both stockings and circular needles.

If it is not possible to use knitting needles of two numbers, then you can do with one, but knit the first rows tighter, and the last ones more freely.

The size of the beads may be different, but it is desirable that the hook passes through them. This will make the job easier. Keep in mind that three threads should pass freely through the hole of the bead.
