This pattern uses a large variety of stitches to provide loads of texture and detail. Great for an experienced crocheter, and adventurous beginner as well. Pattern includes a list of all stitches used as well as some explanations for the trickier stitches.
The central square/ diamond is worked from the center in rounds. To change the direction of the square, we work a series of short rows on each side, before re-joining yarn to resume in the round.
Pattern calls for both a J-6.0mm hook and an L-8.0 mm hook. Finished size is approximately 52’ squared. Sample is made in Red Heart Super Saver Ombre: Deep Teal- (482 yds/440 m /skein), and it took approximately 5.5 skeins.
