the atlantis set is designed to be the perfect loungewear set.

the sweater is knit top down. first, the back yoke is shaped by german short rows and is then knit back and forth in stockinette. then, stitches are picked up by the left shoulder and shaped by german short rows, followed by increases at the yoke being made for neck shaping. the right side of the yoke is done the same way. after this, the two front portions are connected, and knit to the same length as the back. after this, we cast on stitches for the underarms, and knit the body. the arms are knit in stockinette with decreases. lastly, you pick up stitches for the polo neck.

the pants are knit from top to bottom. the back is shaped with short rows and then knitted in the round. increases are worked on the front and back of the trousers, and the pant legs are formed. first the right leg is knitted straight down, then the right leg is knitted. a thin, elastic thread is attached at the waist.
