Atomic Robin Hood Marian Mitts
NOTE: You must be able to read charts to complete the lace patterning on this item.
The Atomic Robin Hood Marian Mitts were inspired by the fairytale feel of autumn in the Adirondacks. They’re a modern take on an archer’s wrist guards and are worked in the round from the bottom up. A gusset is used to help give shape to the palm and thumb, and the cuffs and back are worked in Japanese Lace. The palm of the mitt features a woven stitch, perfect for those who spend time on the computer and need the fabric to have additional strength at the base of the wrist. There are separate instructions for the right and lefthand mitts.
